It’s multifactorial. Correlation is not causation but when Jamb started to reduce the cut off marks, what did we expect? 200/400 is 50 percent then you tell the students 140/200 is good enough. Did they think the students will aim to be better or just choose mediocrity?

kehinde Adefulu No. But we have to understand that one of the reasons is because jamb and schools are now taking from 140,160 and above. Medicine in some schools are not up to the standard 250 anymore. If jamb and schools peg their cut off mark at 200, watch how student will pass next year.

The only jamb paper am not sure of passing is maths am an average maths person I don't know how am suppose to solve 40-50 question in 30mins.
