Tom Gray Fighters from that time were something else, he faced Ali & Frazier within the same of months. Ali fought Ken Norton I think within a month of fighting Joe Bugner during his second run, crazy.

#RIPJoeBugner the British heavyweight boxer who went the distance with Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier, has died aged 75. Bugner won little affection in the UK after controversially beating national hero Henry Cooper in 1971, a result that sent Cooper into retirement.

The death of Joe Bugner, a British Boxing great is sad news. During his career he never received the accolades he deserved, yet he fought in the era of Ali, Frazier & Foreman, 3 of the greats of all time & fought them on 5 occasions. He is 2nd only to Lennox Lewis in Brit greats.

Really good obit of Joe Bugner, the British heavyweight who died yesterday... 35 pro fights by his 21st birthday! And THEN he fought all the greats of his era: the-independent.com/sport/boxing/j…
