Adam Summerton Loved Teletext for Football scores, people nowadays have no idea how hard it was to get up-to-date football scores, it was the radio stations or nothing.

Rob Laws One of our Middle School teachers at the time was a staunch Mackem, the day we sold Cole he took great pleasure in pulling me and two mates out of a lesson, march us down to the I.T room, there was a big tele in the room which he put on and showed us on teletext we’d sold Cole🤣

Fancy seeing what was in the top 10 pop charts as seen on Oracle teletext back in 1979 in which Janet Kay was number 1 with Silly Games and the Boomtown Rats at 2 with I Don't Like Mondays. (Captured by The Teletext Archaeologist) #70s

Just putting it out there. I think spurs will be active in the market and give Frank more options. I also think we should have done a lot more already. I think spurs Twitter is an awful lot of waffle and prefer the good old days with teletext 😂. Get sucked in too much.

Hyrum Martin Barraclough 🗽 Yeah, the 10p freddo has become a thing of folk lore. Its now just something we’ll tell our grand kids about like dial up internet, teletext and when Rotherham United went a week without pissing its fans off.
