69 people arrived in Napoli yesterday after surviving a dangerous crossing. We offered some rest over the past two days on board the Sea-Watch 5, knowing what lies ahead. We wish you strength to keep fighting Fortress Europe! We’ll be back to rescue again soon.

All 30 survivors reached Italy safely yesterday – despite a threatening crossing & Libyan militias attempting to force them back into torture camps. We wish them strength! Meanwhile, Europe keeps supporting these Libyan militias, dragging others back to Libya. This must stop!

2 iron boats in the Central Med, carrying 60 & 52 people, almost sinking, were ignored by authorities for many hours. Only the sailing boat Garganey VI responded, rescuing the first boat and assisting the second until the Italian CG eventually arrived. instagram.com/p/DLnf1TRIuu9/

81 people in distress.Frontex spotted them - a speedboat, probably a Libyan militia, moved in. This is how Europe enables illegal pullbacks. But we were there first with our Aurora & were able to rescue everyone. This morning, everyone arrived safely in Lampedusa.

🆘️ ~550 people in distress south of #Crete! Last night we were in contact with this group who told us that water was entering the boat. We could not reach them since & don't have any news from the authorities. The last position was close to #Greek waters - rescue is needed now!

During our night patrol on 7th of July, we found a boat in distress & rescued 52 people. Italy assigned us the port of Pozzallo, Sicily - meaning an unnecessary day at sea. Last night, everybody finally went ashore. We’re relieved & full of respect for their resilience.
