What a wonderfully life-affirming gig at Town Hall, Birmingham this evening. The ever brilliant CBSO were joined by the kora maestro Seckou Keita and drummer Suntou Susso. We heard Seckou’s suite “African Rhapsodies” delightfully conducted by Clark Randell.
