This is a greetings card I have just printed at home. It is a cyanotype, or sun print, of leaves of the doves-foot cranesbill, a common weed that grows in my garden. Coloured by hand with Japanese watercolour paint.

We have always had great meals at Anima e Cuore. Last night’s was the best ever. Kentish Town is lucky to have such a great place.

Salisbury Cathedral A Bible illustrated by the Sarum Master in the 1240s (bought for Salisbury Cathedral by Friends of the Nation’s Libraires last year). It sits in one of the few functioning cathedral libraries to have been built as a library.

The poor dog was attacked by a crow this morning on Parliament Hill. The bird dive bombed twice and pecked him hard enough to make him yelp.

A delicious supper was had at the Old Farmhouse this week. Excellent food in a very attractive room.
