Jefferson Tx ACE Ballet Folklorico Club did a WONDERFUL job at the 3rd Annual District Wide BF Showcase. Ms Orey was not only the BF teacher for this group but she also taught Mr Rincon, BF Director too when he was young! Such a cool experience! ❤️Great job!

Rodriguez Tx ACE Ballet Folklorico Club was led by SHS ‘23 Graduate and former SHS BF member Ms. Brenda. This group of performers did a BEAUTIFUL job displaying their talents in the 3rd Annual District Wide BF Showcase! Way to go! ❤️

Tomorrow is the last day that Ballet Folklórico will be one class period at the high school. Today was more than likely the last day these students will all be in the same room together. What a year it has been! Here’s to 2024-2025 school year!

What a week Grupo Folklórico De SHS has had @ camp this week! Activities included creating playlists for our year, lots of team building, skirt workshops for Jalisco, team photo shoot, refining dances & welcoming our JV & V newcomers! It’s going to be a wonderful year!!

Grupo Folklórico De Seguin High School travelled to the Seguin/ Guadalupe County Events Center to be a part of the 2024-2025 Convocation festivities. We are very thankful for the invitation by Veronica Vijil . It is always an honor to perform for our community!

Members of GFDSHS spent some of their weekend at a skirt workshop given by the accomplished Folklórico dancer & Director, Mrs. Orey Russell of San Antonio, Texas. Skirt technique, body awareness & group work with skirts were among the items touched on during the 2 hr workshop.

On this hot September morning, Mariachi Matador and GFDSHS had the opportunity to perform for Tejanos of the Alamo at the Texas Alamo. Also, what a pleasant surprise to get to share the stage with Lanier High School’s mariachi as well! We all had a blast and are all beat!
