We have a fully funded PhD studentship starting in October 2023 in solid state chemistry to synthesise and analyse new materials for next generation ceramic fuel cells.

An absolute pleasure to have received the 2023 BTM Willis Prize winner Dr Otto Mustonen to talk about his work on realising exotic models of quantum magnetism in perovskite oxides - very interesting stuff!

Always super happy to have a paper published in PRB, especially when it has taken so long to get it across the line! journals.aps.org/prb/abstract/1… Here we show how in some improper ferroelectrics the initial application of pressure can actually act to enhance the polarisation!
