Not true. Republican lawmakers knew that if they voted against my budget request, two facilities for homeless veterans would close. And they voted against it anyway. And, now, instead of doing their jobs and passing a damn bill to fix it, they sent me a 16-page letter instead.

Republican lawmakers need to take responsibility for their votes. I get it—Republicans made a mistake and wish they could get a do-over. So, then stop pointing fingers, get to work, and pass a bill giving our veterans the resources you should’ve approved from the get-go.
