Our Family Readers initiative brings families and stories together in the most joyful way. Each month, a surprise "family" reader joins our classrooms to share a favorite book as we celebrate the joy of storytelling.

It's time for our Empowerment Saturday Program at SFDS! This program is all about community, strengthening communication and celebrating the power of families learning together.

This October, we celebrate White Cane Day, a special time to honor the independence and mobility of our students. At SFDS, we teach our students that every tool for independence, whether it’s an AAC device or a white cane represents empowerment. Accessibility is freedom.
