Ethan Wyttenbach was the inaugural recipient of the USHL's Gaudreau Award in honor of Johnny and Matthew. Yesterday, Wyttenbach was drafted by none other than the Calgary Flames, the same team that drafted Johnny in 2011 🥹 (📸 Calgary Flames, Sioux Falls Stampede)

In April, Ethan Wyttenbach, was named the Inaugural USHL Gaudreau Award Recipient. 2 months later, he was selected by the Calgary Flames in the NHL Draft… the same team that selected Johnny Gaudreau 14 years ago. Ethan said it best, “it’s crazy how the stars align.”💫

Three of the Stampede's 2025 Phase I picks will represent Team USA at the 2025 U-17 Four Nations Tournament at USA Hockey Arena starting on August 5th. Congrats, Jake, Ethan, and Cameron!
