We are about to get underway with the Thunder Cup final held at EOT which I believe will be the first time two women’s club teams have played here (happy to be corrected!). Huge thanks to the grounds team for getting significant amount of water off to start on time!

On the same day as Lancashire Women won the Metro Bank One Day Cup in Southampton, Emirates Old Trafford hosted the inaugural Thunder Cup Final between Leigh Cricket Club and Stockport Georgians! 🏏 FINAL STANDINGS 2025 🏏 The 2025 season has come to an end; A year of development on and off the pitch. The 1s finished in the highest position in our history. After a tough start the lads turned it around, winning 11 out of the last 13. A brilliant achievement, well done!

The 2nd XI unfortunately have been relegated from the Premier Division. It’s been a tough year for the lads but we know they will be back stronger next year and pushing for promotion from Division 1.

The 3rd XI finished middle of the pack in the Premier Division. Some new faces saw quite a new team but they have gelled quickly and had a good year on the whole, well done fellas!

The 4th XI made their debut season in the 3rd XI Division 2. A very young team pulled off some crucial wins at the end of the season to ensure we will be playing in the same league next year. A great achievement!

Our Women’s 1st XI remain in Division 1 next season and they also won the inaugural Thunder Cup, beating Leigh at Old Trafford. Congratulations! @georgianswomen Well done to all. Up the Georgians! Interested in playing for us next year? Please inquire via email or DM!
