Such a wonderful and encouraging day for our South Garner High School young ladies. Many thanks to the Garner Chamber for allowing our students to participate in the 2023 Women in Business Conference. Our students were inspired by some awesome speakers and presenters.

Thank you N.C. Plant Sciences Initiative for allowing our South Garner High School Horticulture II class to visit your space today. The students appreciated their tour, the lab demo, and visit to the farm. You'll probably see some of these students in the future.

Congratulations are in order for South Garner High School Seniors, Kimberly and Josias. They placed 1st and 2nd in the Garner Mid Day Rotary Speech Contest. We are very proud of these two and a big Thank You to the Garner Mid Day Rotary for awarding the students with scholarship prizes!

It's official! Two of our first South Garner High School graduates have graduated from college. Congratulations to Perla and Alyson, Class of 2021. Both received their Bachelors degrees today from ECU.

The weather was perfect today for our South Garner High School Chick-fil-A Leader Academy to complete their IMPACT project. Thanks to all that came out to donate to our local charities & organizations. It was a good morning to run the 5K or walk the mile. Good job students.

We don't have a lot of traditions South Garner High School yet, but this is one that we are proud of. Alondra and Kimberly graduated from Wake Tech today. They are students number 5 & 6 to graduate from with their Associates Degree before getting their high school diploma. #CCP works!

Our South Garner High School Chick-fil-A Leader Academy students @cfaleaderacademy read and distributed over 1,000 books to elementary school students at Barwell Rd, East Garner, & Bryan Rd Elementary schools today. Thanks Chick-fil-A Garner for supporting this program.

Our SGHS tradition continues. Hannah graduated on Saturday from Wake Tech with her Associate Degree before receiving her high school diploma. That brings our total to 7 in 4 years with students completing college before high school graduation. We love Wake Tech CCP at SGHS!

Congratulations to Hemmy! Hemmy is a Senior, Class of 2025, and our 8th South Garner High School to graduate with their Associate's Degree before getting their high school diploma by participating in the Career & College Promise program. Hemmy graduated today from Wake Tech Wake Tech.
