When I was little, I thought adults were dumb for needing to put up so many clocks for different time zones in the hotel lobbies. I no longer laugh at my wise elders. I sincerely apologize. Daylight savings time has completely broken me. 😵‍💫

I recommend. I noticed many in hep did not realize the technical advancement made in last few years that allowed muon collider to get an approval stamp of “no showstopper identified.”

Muon Collider story might be like the Oscar story. Ignored for decades. Yet an amazing comeback. "Dreams are something you have to believe in."

Thinking about Muon Collider listening to Jonathan Larson's Louder than Words as I am heading to P5 Townhall "Why should we try to be our best ... If we don't wake up ... we'll eat the dust of the world wondering why" youtube.com/watch?v=kf0nln…

Two interesting papers today on arXiv with interesting acronyms: - "SL" basis: arxiv.org/abs/2304.09884 - UFO 2.0 (but shouldn't we be backronyming to UAP now?): arxiv.org/abs/2304.09883

One of the most interesting developments in particle physics over the past few years is the enthusiasm—and boy is there enthusiasm—around a potential muon collider, especially given that its prospects seemed over a decade ago. scientificamerican.com/article/partic…

All the aurora posts feels like Universe is asking for more particle physics Universe: “Fellas. I got a fever! and the only prescription is more μ-bell!” Humans: “You got it, Universe.” [proceeds to collider more μ’s] Muon Collider

Last physics talk by Nima Arkani-Hamed, and the message is clear: We have open questions in particle physics, and a muon collider is a tool unlike any other that can help us answer these questions
