As we said this summer, prisons (and now exclusions) do not fix the problem of racism. Addressing structural racism and the material inequalities it imposes is critical. Bridget Phillipson must make anti-racism an education priority and support school communities.

From beginning, the inquiry refused to investigate racial discrimination; this omission explains why it does not report on structural racism or understand the incentives/insensitivities of why w/class, people of colour are more likely to live in housing that's not fit for purpose
