Just finished the latest monthly Gravesham Council Gravesham Labour Councillor Surgery for Coldharbour and Perry St residents at Shears Green Ct Communal Lounge. Takes place the 3rd Saturday of each month 9.30-10.30am. All residents of the ward welcome.

Thanks to those residents who came to our monthly Coldharbour & Perry St Ward ⁦Gravesham Council⁩ Councillor Surgery this morning. Casework will be worked on now. Takes place on the 3rd Saturday of every month 9.30-10.30am at Shears Green Court off Haynes Road. ⁦

This week, the Street Cleansing Team are deep cleaning streets in and around Perry Street, removing litter, dead weeds, and detritus. In addition, 24 Street Champions, volunteers, and GBC staff were out litter picking at Lansdown Place Car Park,

May Avenue, Victoria Road, and Perry Street. In total 42 bags of litter were collected by the volunteers and they also identified ten fly-tips which will be removed by the Street Cleansing Team shortly.

Honoured to have been at this service again this year, which has been now running for 25 years, paying tribute to all those who served and serve still in the Merchant Navy including my late father who worked on the tugs in Gravesend and later on the seas around the world.
