Why did this get deleted? 🤔 Was it because the stance is going to change soon on the pricing or the browsing data collection? Ask Perplexity do you know?

PSA: One can get Claude Pro for 50% off (i.e. $10 a month) for 3 months when buying through below link. clau.de/morgan Disclaimer: Not my link so no guarantees. I found it on reddit but I've tried and used it myself and it works.

If you code in rust, and use claude-code/gemini-cli/cursor et al, the Crates MCP server is great to make sure your assistant is installing recent dependencies + it can also look at the packages' docs through it. Without this, they often falter in search. github.com/pato/crates-mcp

This is what I saw with Cursor even for claude sonnet 4 as well. Using sonnet directly via amp or claude code is so much better.

Who has the best chances to get to a real AI OS first? Google or Perplexity? (I'd count out Microsoft and Apple from that race right from the start.)

Trying out kiro IDE by Amazon with a sample prompt. Looks like it basically automates the things I usually do in general working with any AI coding assistants, i.e. creating a requirements/PRD, architecture/design doc etc and then moving from phase to phase. The PRD it created is

Seeing capitalized and emphasized proper usage of WHEN/THEN/SHALL/MUST etc reminded me of my first job from 21-22 years ago. Full on ISO9001 :D

Kiro tags each task list to the corresponding requirements. I've had problems prompting claude code to do this reliably. It also has a "start task" indicator next to each task in the list, which triggers implementation of that task. This is a nice touch. Hopefully they will keep

Why don't news outlets share any sources, or bother to check any documentation, in majority of the cases? It's always "people told us".
