I won’t be casting a vote in 2026—not for MPs or any elective position.  It’s not a protest against individuals. On the contrary, I know a number of contestants personally—strong, principled, and worthy leaders. But it’s not about the individuals anymore, it’s about the system!

Why vote good people into a framework we know is broken? So that they can change it from the inside? That’s just cosmetic change - an innocent fallacy.  Until we’re ready to rethink governance from first principles —I won’t play along.  We need an overhaul, not another patch.

It has been with honor and thoughtfulness that I take this step. Intentionality has been at its core, carried forward by conviction and purpose. For too long, we’ve dwelt in the past and become stuck in a present shadowed by anxiety for a future unknown. Our national story seems
