An update from Scotland's Culture Minister on our Government's plans for a review of the infrastructure of grant giving in the arts along with an announcement of the reinstatement of short-term funding support.

Culture Funding Crisis, Scotland: This goes some way to show the level of stress Creative Scotland’s decision to close Open Project Funding for Individuals caused. Six months of work crammed into eleven days. Now being paid for in burn out, by people who can’t afford to rest.

1) Gaelic is not practically extinct. 2) No, they don’t. 3) Scots is recognised as a language. 4) It’s not a dialect of Middle English. 5) Over 1.5m people reported they can speak it in 2022.
