Addiction Atheism Do people listen to loud music and continue to do so despite suffering permanent hearing loss because certain sounds are ‘addictive’? Is using headphones to self-administer it more addictive than using bookshelf speakers? Is Techno more or less addictive than Opera?

the word "addiction" magically transforms value into cost; the productive value inherent in the act of taking drugs is negated and redefined as a loss, an expense, a debt. in this way the ruling class mindfucked us into giving up our own labor and its value for their benefit.

Hydrocodone worked great for managing my chronic pain. It's a sin, and it should be a crime that people are being denied access to safe regulated opioid medications.

Very similar rhetoric was used to ban opioids. Ignoring all external factors. Many people can't afford their rent, the price of food, or cost of living. Laying the ground work for litigations. Blaming the users. Blaming the manufacturers.

The studies do not prove that cannabis is the cause of heart problems anymore than raising an umbrella causes rain. The data is poor quality, inconsistent, uncontrolled. Just another biased report seeking headlines. Many other studies show benefits of #cannabis for heart health.

Prohibitionists do the same thing using drug policy. They platform people who speak the abstinence only narrative. Even when people put solid, indisputable data and facts in front of them showing how their addiction "treatment" kills people. It's remarkable how it all works.

As a chemist: Calling mRNA a “silent killer” shows your deep misunderstanding of how biology works. Your own cells make mRNA every day. It’s how your body functions. The mRNA in vaccines is temporary, targeted, and safe. It’s a tool. Not a toxin.

They wear masks as they use facial recognition software. Is anyone seeing the irony here? The feds are just trampling over civil liberties, and some of you are silent because it's trampling the rights of "illegals" That boot is coming down on you too, just you wait and see.

It's messed up that people are on here reading these stories, our stories, of the suffering drug prohibitions cause us, and they find joy in it all. People don't seem to realize the odds are that they too will be on the receiving end of it at some point.

It's concerning that you couldn't buy what you needed directly from the store. These drug prohibitions are dangerous.

also the people that are being kicked off Medicaid are old people, disabled people, and kids, none of which are going to do well picking wheat for 20 hours per week let alone 20 hours per day

It is, but their base believes whatever party line is told to them. They don't care about data, facts, or reality for that matter.
