It surprises me how many families who say they are Christians speak to each other so unpleasantly. There is constant whining and bickering. Not just from children but the adults modeling it.

This morning at Mass, we had a few friends who came to Mass and lots of people more open to peace ( seriously this isn’t always the case) so I didn’t get to my husband till the very end. When I approached him to pass the peace, he put out his hand and said “Truce?” 🤣

There is a 20 something I chat with every once in a while. Yesterday I ask him how he is. Him: Do you want an honest answer? Don’t you know me by now? I always want the honest answer. Had a great 10 min convo where I encouraged him +helped him sort out a few things

Despite flying home from Paris and to London and back on Delta partners the last 6 months, I have lost my Delta Silver status. So bummed. Hope to gain it back in the next year.

I’ve been packing sandwiches for my plane flights. Today I got SunChips and a club soda from the flight attendant. I feel like I have quite a fancy lunch now.

On a Delta flight from Seattle to Detroit. Returned from bathroom to row 17 to a steward w a small trash caddy. I pointed and told him I was on row 16. He told me to walk all the way to the back of the plane. Seriously. Nope no one else in the aisle but us two. Gotta laugh

On my layover in Detroit, trying to get my steps in. Group of adorable Jewish boys wearing kippahs on the way to camp. One is carrying an ENORMOUS container of cheese balls. It’s half eaten and they aren’t even to camp yet.

This morning when I boarded a plane to Detroit, the woman in front of me, placed her hand on the side of the plane. I asked her if she was giving us a blessing. She said she’s been doing that every flight for 50 yrs. “ I just tell the plane to be good to us.”

This is a small jumper flight. Only 70 seats I think. Far too many people are talking to each other at the gate. I’m not into talking on the plane. I have 4 days of social time, I don’t want socializing right now. Not till I get to JOHN POCH 💎’s house for a drink.
