Thank you to Merced Sheriff’s Explorers, Turlock Kohl’s volunteers and all who supported our, "Drive Thru Dinner" Fundraiser it was a BIG SUCCESS! We sold a total of 1,240 tickets earning $4,960 toward student rewards, incentives, awards throughout the school year.

College & Career week: 4th & 5th grade students did research and presented to their fellow Selma Herndon Peers information about colleges and careers. From technology and science to culinary schools of cooking. From Junior colleges, CSUS, to Harvard, UC Berkeley and more.

Selma Herndon students participated in the “ThoughtExchange” to provide input on the LCAP Session. The big question was: What are some things you need to be successful in school? The input will help us as we plan fir next school year to improve student ideas.

Selma Herndon hosted “Caring Kids-10 Big Ideas” on promoting good behaviors, teaching appropriate behaviors to foster a positive independence for students and strategies to promote healthy habits.

Tonight LUSD honored and recognized school secretaries and attendance clerks for their support service to our schools. Congratulations to Selma Herndon’s secretary, Mrs. Dela Rosa and Attendance Clerk, Mrs. Espindola.

Good Evening Selma Herndon Parents and Families, Our students attended a school wide assembly on "The Big Bad Bullysaurus." presented by the Gallo Anti-Bullying Performances. Students learned about friendship and the importance of forgiveness.

Kindness Warms the ❤️! We greeted ⁦⁦⁦Livingston Middle School⁩ and headed to Stanford University. 97 students strong and our students learned, laughed and expressed gratitude for the experience. Our 💕 are warmed because of ⁦⁦Livingston Union School District⁩ continued support.
