4 days on from renovations and a single mow, greens are recovering lovely. 15mm scarify, dress and TX Humus feed. All fairways have also been scarified and we managed to get a good shot of Woody the Woodpecker. Looks like summer has finally arrived Shipley Golf Club

I’ve never experienced a month with such little clipvol. GP has averaged 0.42 with no app of PGR. We’re not far off finding the “Goldilocks zone” with N input, performance and consistency. 6mm total irrigation for the year. Greens stimping at 11.8 and we’re mowing at 4mm 👌🏼

The remodelled 8th hole will be open for captains day tomorrow. It’s still a little early to keep it open permanently but it’ll give us a good indication of how the surface will react with traffic.
