You know you have complex chronic medical issues when... The guy at the pharmacy greets you by name and tells you, "See you tomorrow!" as you leave.

I'm going out of state & taking my cat with me for the physical & mental health of both of us. I have complex health issues & chronic pain. My cat literally helps me survive it. It's going to cost MORE for my cat to fly there & back (on the FLOOR) than it will me. Southwest Airlines

What next universe? I had an upper endoscopy today to try to figure out why I'm having horrible episodes of nausea. They found my stomach full of food despite 12 hrs of fasting. We already knew I have gastroparesis but it was always well-controlled with meds. Not any more. 😢

Dementia really is a long goodbye. It has been so painful to lose my daddy a little at a time. I feel like I've been mourning his loss for years, but as this horrible disease prepares to take him from this world completely, I still feel completely unprepared. I love you daddy!

Ended up in the hospital for a couple days due to headaches getting out of control and ensuing VP shunt concerns. Unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience UT Southwestern Medical Center. Any recommendations of where to go for any future VP shunt concerns in the Dallas, TX area?
