We are gearing up for this afternoon's 33rd Annual Siena SienaComputerScience High School Programming Contest, sponsored by Transfinder. Over 60 teams from almost 20 high schools will be participating in the first-ever virtual version of this event.

Regardless of the answer this time, we are getting closer to the point that we will need to understand what machine consciousness means, and _how_ we will answer the question. Time to look at the Turing test and think about its meaning, applicability, and possible modifications.
