Delighted to have been able to represent St John Ambulance England at the Merseyside Police cadets 2024 intake final ceremony last night. Sgt Pope & team have done a fantastic job & it was a pleasure to have had a small part in their training. Looking forward to my next input for 2025/2026!

Day 1 of Randox Health Aintree Racecourse Grand National festival done! Our amazing St John Ambulance England St John Ambulance North Clinical Team teams have been on site since 7am and have provided cover across the whole site. Tired but proud event manager. Apparently there was a horse race today at Aintree Racecourse ?? Our St John Ambulance England teams have just about stood down (mostly!) after a brilliant day of racing providing medical and first aid cover to the crowd and jockeys alongside North West Ambulance Service. Huge thanks to everyone 👏🏻

Delighted to be able to welcome our new L3 Emergency Responders to St John Ambulance England who have completed their training in Liverpool. Huge thanks to all of those who supported their training and onboarding. A massive team effort from everyone. Can’t wait to see them out & about. 👏🏻
My St John Ambulance England St John Ambulance Merseyside role allows me to do amazing things & today was one of them. Myself and our President John Mohin were honoured to present Mike with his 50(+) year service medal. Joining at 11 in 1959, Mike is still active in our Fellowship. Congratulations!

Today was an incredibly emotive day that I was privileged to be a part of as families and loved ones of those who donated their organs were honoured and thanked by St John Ambulance England NHS Blood+Transplant at the Atheneum. So many amazing people recognised for their selfless act of donation.
Another day and another St John Ambulance England activity. This time with Emma Galley. MSc, BN, RN, DN, Queen’s Nurse , MStJ and Merseyside Police Sgt Pope delivering the first aid input for the cadet scheme. Great engagement and a lovely group of young people. Hopefully informative AND fun 🤩 (well, one out of those two!)
Having just had what can only be described as an ‘interesting’ few weeks with our St John Ambulance England teams I can honestly say volunteering, whilst hard at times, is an incredible opportunity to do amazing things. I can’t thank our people enough for everything that they do.
