30 years ago i think today. One of the most god awful Jack Daniels hangovers I ever experienced in my life. 100 degrees. 65 model 4020 powershift with an Excel cab and a John Deere 510 baler. Was 4 in the afternoon the last time I puked out that tractor door that day……..

Wish I could have gotten a picture. Had my back turned last night, talking to some other parents…Looked back for my kid. There she was with her horse and another 7 yr old girl trying to throw a goat tying dummy on the horse. I thought guess we find out if horse is bomb proof!!

Got my silage cutter out so someone could start fixing shit. Ain’t got as many hours on it as I was thinking. Not doing anything is paying off!!

Can’t seem to buy an inch a rain so I’m gonna go ahead and assume it’s safe enough I can unhook this and use my tractor in the hay field.

Brought my fire fighting rig to the hayfield. Only thing I keep thinking of is if I really need it,the pull rope on the Briggs & Stratton will break….

9 hours of sorting cattle, loading yearlings and gathering in the dust and heat. Only the last hour did she say “I’m starting to get tired, but I’m not quitting”..
