NFT space moves fast....like hyperspace fast. A 🧵 This was a big week. We saw further posturing by big traditional financial players entering the space and we had unfortunate news around a few CC0 derivative rug pulls that hit very close to home for mfers...my bags included.

You may not know what mfers has gone through in China, it got the most crypto media exposure of any NFT project, it sparked an unprecedented public discussion about CC0 legal practices, and then many people went on to write articles deconstructing mfers

There is still a lot of misunderstanding in the NFT space, even for the few of us that spend a lot of time here. @sartoshi_nft has been weaving a narrative lately that is significant and has me excited to be building in the space at this exact point in time. A 🧵

So in the lead-up to the sweet 16 we decided to do something new. We pushed new art. Easter egg style to reflect the IRL events that had occurred in the first 3 rounds of the tournament. Our project had therefore become mutable. Here are Kentucky, St. Mary's and St. Peters.

We will be opening the public mint for Hoodie MFER Madness/hoodiemfermadness.io later this evening. Last year was a ton of fun and remember this is a small art project and a way to connect and have fun. Our 2022 collection is held by many collectors and sits on the wall of one of the great collectors.

We are cruising through the first round of Hoodie MFER Madness/hoodiemfermadness.io. Many of our minters have lost in the first round, some with multiple tokens. Don’t stop paying attention though. I minted Kansas (1 seed) and I don’t win my own NFT project.
