I am thrilled to share @thepopenjay's new work, hot off the press this week! tinyurl.com/yb4mm7k4 We used over 140,000 occurrence records (thanks, GBIF @biodiversity.social/@gbif & HerpMapper!) to look at climate change sensitivity for 90 species of frogs & toads native to the United States. 1/n

I wanted to show an undergraduate mentee how cool net-spinning caddisflies (Hydropsychidae) are, and dug up this gem! Thanks Dewi Roberts for the awesome footage :)

Shoot, this whole time I thought Lucinda Williams was doing cartwheels down that gravel road 🤯 Enjoying my commute with Lucinda Williams and all the #WomenOfFolk

CONGRATULATIONS to the new Dr. Chloe Moore for an outstanding PhD defense seminar today exploring frog & toad diversity in the United States!! The lab is so proud of you, @moore_chloe_. Cannot wait fo see what comes next! IGC VT VT Biology Global Change Center ~ at Virginia Tech Virginia Tech Science

LET'S GO!!! So excited to start the long (and long-awaited) trek to #FreshwaterDownunder #2023SFS. Stoked for awesome science with StreamCLIMES and DryRiversRCN, catching up with old friends, and hopefully meeting some locals 🐨🦘

Ran my 1st Freshwater Science 5K today - & 1st one since having my kiddo! - and what a blast. These speed demons were kind enough to wait for me at the finish line 😅 Looking forward to another outstanding day of talks at #2023SFS!

Congratulations Ryan Conway on a fantastic presentation! Excited that he could share his PhD work on network and disturbance effects on temporal beta diversity. #freshwaterdownunder Freshwater Science

I also wanted to share this AWESOME PhD position! I did my M.S. at Clemson with Brandon Peoples and took John Morse's EPT course at Highlands Biological Station. Two excellent mentors in a great college town. Happy to answer questions ([email protected]); be sure to apply soon if interested!!!

Thanks Bell's Brewery - I needed all 6 of these tasty Michigan natives to make it through last night. #GoBlue 💙〽️
