AAIS joined the Government in commemorating Somaliland 1st children's conference in Hargeisa, which brought together children, government leaders, international organizations, and civil society partners in solidarity with every Somali child. #InvestInEveryChild

1. Sending more children to school – More children will be enrolled in school over the next five years. 2. Vaccination coverage for every child – Achieve 80% vaccination coverage for all children by December 2026. #InvestInEveryChild

3.Tackle climate change – Scale up the Green Somaliland Initiative by planting millions of trees in communities, schools & health facilities 4. Enhance sanitation & hygiene – Strengthen water, sanitation & waste management services to improve children's health #InvestInEveryChild

5. Zero Tolerance for FGM & GBV – the president declared a presidential zero tolerance policy on all forms of FGM & GBV by accelerating legal protections 6. Fight child hunger & malnutrition – Triple national food reserves to ensure no child sleeps hungry #InvestInEveryChild

7. Strengthen social protection – Launch a national Zakat platform through a newly established Zakat Commission chaired by the Office of the President 8. Invest more in social services – Increase government funding for child focused sectors like health, education & protection

9. Promote public-private partnerships – Engage the private sector to boost inclusive development. Empower children and youth – Ensure young voices are heard and included in national decision-making processes. #InvestInEveryChild
