The Quiet man is 73 years old today. The John Wayne/Victor McLaglen fight is an all-timer. This is a 'Dad Movie', if ever there was.

I was fascinated by how the tale of Indian and Mexican cuisine also weaved in an account of the goddess Annapurna. It left me feeling quite peckish too.

Two excellent poems. "Daily Reincarnations" captures brilliantly the wearying drudge of daily life. "Much with Water" is a wonderfully watery poem about the waters inside and outside of humans.
