Too cloudy to spot any #NoctilucentClouds from North Yorkshire this evening. I took a few test shots but didn't capture any. If you have clear skies it might be worth going out to take a look though. #NoctilucentCloud

Unusual sight in the skies over Europe this morning. A brief (<10 min) bright elongated luminous cloud appeared between 00:10 and 00:20 UTC. Likely a rocket plume (propellant dump?), it was spotted by webcams over the Alps and fra who also reported it. It disappeared

A good display of #NoctilucentClouds on the Russian webcams again this evening. It could indicate a display for the UK later tonight into tomorrow morning. Very cloudy for me unfortunately but worth a look if you have clear skies.

I missed last night's #NoctilucentClouds display due to a band of cloud crossing right over the north of England. By the time I had clear skies around 3am there were no NLCs to be seen. Glad people got to see a nice display though. Hopefully there will be another tonight ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿคž

Extensive display of #NoctilucentClouds going on right now from North Yorkshire. Get out and take a look if you have clear skies. #Noctilucent #NLC #NoctilucentCloud

A panorama shot of the bright display of #NoctilucentClouds seen from North Yorkshire last night. A beautiful display and one of the best I've seen in years. #Noctilucent #NLC #NoctilucentCloud

A timelapse of last night's #NoctilucentClouds display as seen from North Yorkshire. This covers about 15 minutes in real time. #Noctilucent #NLC #NoctilucentCloud

The serene, wave-like motion of #NoctilucentClouds - a close-up timelapse I captured last night with a 300mm lens. #Noctilucent #NLC #NoctilucentCloud

Another timelapse from the #NoctilucentClouds display on 29-30 June. This one showing the orange and greenish colours typical of NLCs when viewed near the horizon. #NLCs #Noctilucent #Astronomy

Anyone see that bright meteor just now? North-northwest at 23.50 UT. Quite low but bright orange and broke up into green fragments. Couldn't get a camera on it in time but I'm recording the smoke trail. #Astronomy #Meteor #NorthYorkshire

A panorama shot of the bright display of #NoctilucentClouds seen from North Yorkshire in the early hours of this morning. The display was quite diffuse but still bright and extensive. #Noctilucent #NLC #NoctilucentCloud

The #NoctilucentClouds display early this morning was so good that even the planets wanted to join in. Here's a timelapse of bright Venus rising through the #NLC display - stunning! #Noctilucent #Astronomy

Another #NoctilucentCloud video from the early hours of 3 July 2025 from North Yorkshire. Beautiful and serene forms of the #NLCs best revealed by the timelapse method. #Noctilucent #Astronomy #NoctilucentClouds

Since a lot of people are confused about what this is, every telescope here is owned by a person. Each person can log in remotely to use their telescope to capture photos of space from our dark skies!

First sight of tonight's Moon, rising through the 'Belt of Venus' just as the Sun sets! It'll only rise to about 9.5% above the horizon so a tough spot with trees and houses in the way! #StormHour #ThePhotoHour #MoonHourโ„ข๏ธSocial #MoonHour
