Pre-Reception have been enjoying more Spring adventures! From splashing in the water play area to getting stuck into our new digger and construction zone. They also spotted mini beasts, played outside and went on a flower hunt around the College to discover signs of new life.

House Volleyball Match Last week, our Year 12 students and staff enjoyed a friendly House Volleyball match on the Head’s Lawn. It was a great opportunity for everyone to come together and show some house spirit. Well done to all who took part! #SJCRHouse #SJCRCollaboration

Reception celebrated Hedgehog awareness week recently. They learnt about how to keep hedgehogs safe and then made posters to teach others. They made their own clay hedgehogs and enjoyed playing with the mini hedgehogs in the small world area. #SJCRCommunication #LearnThroughPlay

On Friday night, Year 3 camped out on the Heads Lawn. They spent the evening doing leaf identification, "leave no trace" trails and toasting marshmallows on the campfire. We were also joined by Mrs Suraweera from the Physics department and her telescope. #SJCREnrichment

This week, we held our first House Swimming Gala with the Lower Seniors. The atmosphere around the pool was electric, filled with cheers and enthusiastic support. Every student who took part gave it their all and performed brilliantly. Congratulations to Jennings for the win!

This week, Pre-Reception have been learning all about symmetry and created beautiful butterflies with symmetrical patterns using cotton buds. A fun and creative way to bring maths and art together! #CreativeLearning

Parents’ Association Summer BBQ Food and refreshments will be available to purchase, including a Sausage BBQ, ice cream, drinks and sweets. Both cash and card payments will be accepted. Guests are also very welcome to bring their own drinks to enjoy throughout the afternoon.
