Yesterday I developed a sore throat from my uncontrolled allergies (I’m now taking a pill that seems to help). But, I’m supposed to present at a conference in 2 days 😭 I’m drinking hot tea… any other suggestions for treating a sore throat?

There is a long history of undermining Black women’s bodily autonomy and humanity. Pleasant’s story jumped out at me in the archive and it’s an honor to share it.
