The School Council decided to have a ‘Mad Hair’ Day to raise funds for Angling First, a charitable organisation which promotes fishing for children. The day was a great success.We were very impressed with the different hairstyles!

Today the pupils in P4 and LSU2 learned about the amazing life and work of Sir David Attenborough. The children wanted to wish Sir David a very Happy Birthday! BBC Education BBC One National Trust The Wildlife Trusts BBC The One Show

Continuing the road safety tour! St Kieran's Primary welcomed Translink's Safety Bus for its third visit to local schools! A huge thanks to Susan and Kevin from Translink for inviting our Community Safety Officer, Brendan, on board to teach the kids all about road safety.

The children in LSU2 enjoyed learning about the life and work of Mexican Artist Frida Kahlo. They then used Faces iMake to create a collage picture of her face. The end result was amazing. Well done boys and girls!

Today St.Kieran’s PS were delighted to welcome members from the Colin Neighbourhood and residents from Kilwee Care Home to our P7 production of ‘Calamity Jane’. Thank you Footprints Women's Centre for providing lovely tray bakes for the before show refreshments. #communitylinks #TheWildWest

Tomorrow night is the first night of our P7 production of ‘Calamity Jane’. Thanks to Mr Bell and pupils from All Saints College Belfast for all their effort and time in producing our backdrop. It looks amazing and really sets the scene!

The art club got stuck into some outdoor inspired art! They had fun exploring what colours they could find in nature and also what textures could be made.

On Monday, our girl and boy Gaelic Football teams played the opening round of the Colin Cup GAA Football League against Holy Evangelists’ PS Holy Evangelists’ PS & NU Twinbrook.
