Seniors Amai “MyMy” Newman®️ and Skylar M rounded out the top 8 in the field and both ran season best races! Junior Dylan Channel ran for a PR performance of 22.02 in the 200m and sophomore Evan Morehead got a PR in his 200m race as well with a 22.37.

Overall, both boys and girls teams survived and advanced!!! Boys finished in 3rd place overall, while the girls team brought home the 1st place regional champs trophy for the second year in a row in arguably one of the most difficult regions #recruitthecreek! See yall at state!

UIL 6A STATE CHAMPSS + 4x200 STATE RECORD!!! I am beyond proud of myself and my team for this huge accomplishment. This was a great way to end my high school track career! Next stop, VCU!!

THE CHAMPS Shadow Creek wins Class 6A State Meet with 69 points #track Alvin ISD

Congrats to our State Champions! So proud of them. They ran 44.85 in the 4x1/1:33.71 in the 4x2/3:40.55 in the 4x4. Triple jumped 42’, ran the 5th fastest 200m all time in TX, 41.54 in the 300mh (followed up by a 54 split on the 4x4). Words to describe their effort evades me!

Our student-athletes are special for more than just their athletic abilities. We had 3 track and field athletes graduate with their associates degrees tonight. We are proud of their efforts. Izaiah Bingham and state medalists Skylar M and Amai “MyMy” Newman®️ are the standard!
