Very early morning soundtrack due to indigestion: The Gospel Messiah on BBC Radio 3. Truly a magical sound for your ears and one to lift your spirits on these dark mornings Ian McMillan bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m0…

Went to see Tommy Blaize last night. We had a wonderful time whistling and singing along to some great tunes and we were treated to an unrehearsed encore of a Stevie Wonder song that I'm sure will be needed for every show from now on. Highly recommended for a great night out!

How wonderful to hear Clemency Burton-Hill, MBE on BBC Radio 3 . I do hope it's not too long before we hear her more regularly again.

To every musician, every colleague in the BBC Proms BBC Radio 3 and BBC Arts teams, and every member of staff Royal Albert Hall and at our venues across the UK: thank you. What a wonderful summer of music we’ve had. See you on 18th July 2025?
