Phil Medscape Cc Frank Baeyens (about Belgium). It's a shame that Medscape caved in to pressure from fundamental fanatics and cancelled people who know what they're talking about (ie. Sally Satel Brad Rodu) sensible-med.com/p/cancelled-by…

Medical schools have become so radical that many students believe political activism is as important as learning the laws of medicine. When patients visit their doctor's office, they need a healthcare provider, not an activist. foxnews.com/media/medical-…

It's more than just screentime. Here are some of the other factors causing the youth mental health crisis. My piece with Sally Satel in the Los Angeles Times latimes.com/opinion/story/…

A truly shocking finding: Graduates of top medical schools are the most likely to support vague notions of "social justice," and the least likely to actually work in socioeconomically deprived areas.

True. & they should speak up so that their progressive colleagues have less impact on medical training. My MD at an elite center is slapped by the dean when he objects to lowered standards in the name of social justice in med school Jeffrey Flier Do No Harm Steven Pinker

Look, I understand that journalists aren't toxicologists. But it's 2025—it's not that difficult to figure out that metal exposure does not top the list of reasons why cigarettes are so uniquely deadly. U.S. industry can no longer effectively respond to media hits. It's very sad.

Death by risk factors. Smoking is 3rd. Vaping nowhere to be seen. Not surprising as it doesn't cause death. Think about that when you see yet another hit piece on vaping. 22 years in and no loss of life. How long do we wait for significant harms to arrive. 25, 30, 40 years?
