The Meta Start program is pretty great. Love reading stories like these too, especially for a “play with your toys” game executed really well that I first learned about through the Start program and day one purchased.

My experience in tech tells me this is something a VFX artist or tech engineer said “hey look what I/we can do”, were super proud of, and were given the “sure go ahead” greenlight vs it actually being in the script. It’s a production, not real life, so it’s totally fine.

Absolutely love watching the process of how art gets made. “It hurts my feelings” feels like it was put in there as a vehicle to channel the right energy for the speech and not necessarily meaning to be actually included, either as a technique by the actor or the director.

Hilarious to me that logically one would think these three are having a conversation with each other but no these are three independent replies to an offscreen tweet and our brains have already been rewired to know that
