Checkers coming back to NC with a 2-0 lead over Laval in best-of-7 AHL Eastern finals. Charlotte beat the Rocket 5-2 in Game 2 tonight in the Montreal suburb of Laval.

Game 3 of that Charlotte-Laval series will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at Bojangles Coliseum.
