Happening now in Masanafu: We’re engaging young people in a menstrual health quiz—bringing girls and boys into the conversation. It’s more than a game; it’s about breaking myths, normalizing periods, and building a generation that understands and supports menstrual health.

Without access to pads & safe spaces, many girls in Uganda drop out of school every month, becoming vulnerable to early marriage and pregnancy. We must ensure that no girl is left behind. Access to menstrual health is a right. #MHDay2025 #BreakingCyclesUG2025

In Uganda today, some harmful cultural beliefs still label periods as "unclean" or a "marriage signal," tragically stealing girls' education & their very future. We must urgently dismantle these harmful taboos so every girl can learn, thrive, & fulfill her potential. #MHDay2025

Yesterday in Masanafu, we didn’t just host a quiz—we opened up real conversations. Our EcoJua Smart Bags team leader, Mesely took the time to educate both girls and boys on menstruation and sexual health, creating a safe space for learning, curiosity, and confidence. Breaking

We also donated 15 EcoJua Smart Bags to girls in need—each one helping create a #PeriodFriendlyWorld where no girl is left behind because of her period. These bags carry more than just reusable pads—they carry dignity, confidence, and the freedom to learn without interruption.
