It’s nearly 10 years since I had my breast cancer diagnosis. I met Ann, my hubbies school friend, soon after when she was diagnosed just weeks after me. We are friends now & we LOVE to run. Today we went for a 10 miler. Through darkness comes good stuff- a friendship for life!

5 years ago today I ran my very own marathon.. the Smeeathon, to celebrate 5 years cancer free. Every step I ran was with friends, family and the amazing This Woman Runs community. Reflecting on all the special memories made that day.

An amazing day and one that inspires me still. Thanks Julie for being such a wonderful woman
