Joint No. 1 in my #FavePicturebooks24 is… “The Iguanadon’s Horn” by @SeanCRubin. It is a truly brilliant exploration of changing understanding. It creates a picture of how in science, art and imagination are part of the process to finding answers. Exceptional #PicturebookPage

Joint No1 in my #FavePicturebooks24 is… “Blitz, One Family’s War” by Martin Impey. It is a truly stunning story of the impact the war had on one family and on the city of London. It’s a masterclass of bringing history to vivid life. Astounding stuff. #Picturebookpage

Here are my #FaveMiddleGrade24 reads this year that aren’t continuing a series. Each one is brilliant and they are all so different. Most importantly everyone of these books has found a child that now loves it.

Finally these are my favourite returns to a series this year. #FaveMiddleGrade24. All were phenomenal and added brilliantly to their story and world.
