Its been an extremely hot day at Vintage On Sea. Suffering from the heat a bit now though. It was lovely to meet and chat with lots of people and got some small nice donations-Thank you all-Much appreciated.

Hi All. Here are this months figures. Thank you to all who help in any way. North sea collision material appaering again, lots of media, marine conservation society reports, background paperwork. We meet the judges for Lincolnshire Environmental awards in August. #lincsconnect

One of my wonderful volunteers has been out on the beach today and its already hot. She has cleared plastics,drinks lids, balloons etc . Why cant people use bins???

Our running figures for the last 5 years and then consider we had been doing this for 4 years before we started recording figures. We thank all volunteers who have helped over this time in any way. We will be 10 years old as a group April 2016. #LincsConnect

We have been on the prom tonight - literally hundreds of cigarette ends, wipes, lts of wood cutlery,straws etc. Some damage noticed and reported too.

More rubbish removed this morning. So many empty available bins too.......

And so it continues - collected by Jordan and I this afternoon.

2 more hours spent and 2 more bags of rubbish gone. I even managed to find 17p....Its getting really annoying now that so much is laziness and not put in bins. We are not at peak holiday season yet. 494 bags gone already and last year we had 526 in total-one heck of an increase.

Beach litter is becoming a big issue. We had 526 bags for the whole of last year. So far this year 494!!! Any journalists wish to cover???

Two lovely volunteers cleared this today. We are now on 496 bags for this year-crazy figures.

More Lions Mane Jellyfish -these were seen along the Sutton Coastline this afternoon. They were seen by a local resident and have been recorded to Marine Conservation Society by me.#LincsConnect

One of my volunteers has cleared slightly further down the coast but this is some of his results-shocking. We are now on 500 bags for this year bearing in mind year end 2024 was 526 - a marked increase.
