‘Common Sky’ by SOS now open Buffalo AKG Art Museum This site specific installation is a celebration of the sky as commons, enclosed but not excluding the surrounding landscape. The glass roof acts as a lens, bringing into focus the ephemeral qualities of the surrounding atmosphere.

The design of ‘Common Sky’ takes into account the surrounding elements of the Buffalo AKG Art Museum. Everything that can be experienced outside the museum has been a point of inspiration for this artwork. Here is a selection of some of the elements that influenced Studio Other Spaces design.

Acting as a screen between the different areas of Studio Other Spaces, these specially designed glass walls provide light and filtered views between the creative spaces. In 2020, they were presented as part of our #DesignOfCollaboration exhibition for Kunst Merano Arte.⁠
