âCommon Skyâ by SOS now open Buffalo AKG Art Museum This site specific installation is a celebration of the sky as commons, enclosed but not excluding the surrounding landscape. The glass roof acts as a lens, bringing into focus the ephemeral qualities of the surrounding atmosphere.

The structure of Common Sky, designed by Studio Other Spaces for Buffalo AKG Art Museum, curves and reaches down to the ground at a single off-centre point of support. This funnel-like column marks the spot where a lone tree, planted in the 1960s, once stood, as a memorial to what came before.
