SWGS was approached by BBC Radio 4 to contribute to an upcoming documentary. Four Y11 students were delighted to be involved in this exciting opportunity. It was a remarkable experience and they were complimented by the interviewer as being 'excellent ambassadors for the school.'

SWGS sent a team of students to the Salisbury Schools' Panathlon today. The Panathlon involved working as a team around a series of activities to gain points. Congratulations to #TeamSWGS for winning gold and adding a new trophy to the cabinet in reception!

Another great week for SWGS sport with the Inter Girls cross country team winning the Bryanston Relays. Well done to the Inter Girls B team for winning bronze medals and the other five teams representing SWGS who ran great times despite the freezing weather and boggy ground.

Y13 finished their first day in Washington DC with beautiful views as the sun went down.

Y13 are exploring American History and Politics at the National Museum of American History in Washington DC

The Y13 History and Politics trip spent the afternoon in Alexandria, VA visiting Freedom House. They learnt more about the brutal realities of the internal US slave trade.

Y13 started the day at the US Capitol and US Supreme Court with a focus on Politics

The History and Politics trip had a lunch break in the historic Capitol Hill district.

Y13 finished their day in Washington DC visiting museums of thier choice on the National Mall. Including the Museum of the American Indian.
