TIL ARAMCO has been publicly traded since 2021 with a market cap > MSFT + NVIDA. Only 0.0048% of shares change hands (daily trade volume) compared to 1.2% NVDA, 0.34% MSFT, 0.5% GOOG, 0.7% META, and a whopping 3.7% for TSLA!

Please check out our thorough study on the advantages of Muon. Second-order optimization is a promising path to more efficient LLM pretraining.

How is Google down nearly 10% on Apple search and Microsoft not up at all. Apple very clearly cannot actually build its own index so this is boon for Bing.

When I worked at Neeva we did a bunch of user surveys asking people about their search engine preferences. Safari was commonly the most common search engine despite it not being one of the multiple choice answers.

Seems Bing is shutting down their API. What did they see that made them do it because I know it was doing well in terms of revenue.

Softbank's earnings report is unreal. Who decided this was needed information? I can't imagine these are stock photos so someone had to source this. group.softbank/media/Project/…

Kinda crazy how much random literature applies to the LLM world now. Borges would probably have a field day with LLMs and the constant talk of the incoming singularity. Truly the creation of library of babel.

Google is really not afraid the goverment. If they were afraid of monopoly regulation IO probably would have pulled punches. No such thing happened.

"Satya Nadella, Chairman and CEO, Microsoft, in a pre-recorded, virtual fireside chat" seems very weird to call a keynote Databricks like I'm pretty sure that's just a Loom

I wonder at what point we really start to see the big separation between unity and engagement emerge in the interactions with large LLM shops. The LLM which keeps me in real life and gently guides will get orders of magnitude less reward than the one which I doom chat with.

I don't like to throw shade often, but reading exa.ai/blog/evals-at-… is an exercise in how not to go more than an inch deep. Every issue in the post has been discussed exhaustively in the IR literature and research by the likes of Bing and Google, as recently as 2015. Do better

It's wild to think about language as a real thing. Say what you will about LLM, the fact that learning some statistical representation may lead to consciousness is WILD. writings.stephenwolfram.com/2025/05/what-i…

How do VC and investors coalesce the notion of investing in assets with 10 year (lets be real, 15-20 years) till liquidity but also talk about the impending singularity? Not being sassy, as I have also been trying to find the equilibrium. A.k.a should I still save?
