#WordPress 6.8's Speculative Loading is a perfect example of progressive enhancement. #WP core adds a bit of JSON to your pages. So supportive browsers such as Chrome & Edge can preload pages likely to be visited. Meanwhile the JSON is simply ignored by nonsupportive browsers.
