POCUS Monday✨ Try out the water bath for hand and finger imaging. It often provides terrific images without having to contact or put pressure on the skin surface. Diagnosing flexor tenosynovitis in a water bath can be very rewarding and pain free for the patient! #POCUS #imaging

The randomized control trial we covered today compared standard ultrasound to biplane ultrasound for peripheral IV access. Medical student users had fewer vessel back wall punctures when using biplane imaging. They also said biplane imaging was easier to use. #POCUS
