The news acted like it was going to be heat Armageddon today and then there was a breeze and it was actually one of the nicest days of the last month

One issue here is that a lot of the meat and potatoes midwestern Big Ten towns are in what should be the nicest part of the year (as untrue as that's been this July......) and going to Vegas where it's oppressively hot feels like a losing bet.

I can't prove it but there are way more super fast MLB players than when I was a kid. That being said the fastest (Rickey Henderson, Kenny Lofton, Deion Sanders) felt faster than the fastest today.

Hulk Hogan catapulted two boom periods in professional wrestling. Doubt we'll ever see someone with that type of impact on the genre again in our lives.

Hulk Hogan, one of the most accomplished figures in the history of professional wrestling, has died at 71. Hogan, whose real name was Terry Bollea, became a pro wrestler in 1977 and helped take WWF (now WWE) from a regional circuit to a worldwide brand.

I would watch a reality show of Mad Dog just attempting to travel to different places and the obstacles he encounters along the way.

“Not Like Us” and that Charli XCX Brat song were my Grandpa Simpson moment with music where I just was like this is abominable and this world has passed me by

Normally want them to be buyers but disagree here. Team has great chemistry and there’s no one I’d kick out of the lineup. Maybeeeee if they got a first baseman but I actually think Andrew Vaughn becomes a great playoff asset. What they need most is William Contreras to hit.

Update: it wound up tasting better with more time and was pretty good for energy and focus but not helpful for weight loss which was why I bought it. (It’s only been a few weeks but they advertised that it would be noticeable in a week and that was not true.)
